Privacy Policy

This policy explains what NO-BS Marketplace collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers nobsmarketplace.com and app.nobsmarketplace.com.

Last updated 6 August 2026.

1. Who we are

NO-BS Marketplace is operated by NO-BS Marketplace LLC ("NO-BS Marketplace", "we", "us", "our"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

For privacy questions or to exercise a right, email privacy@nobsmarketplace.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information — name, email address, password, and company name where you provide one.
  • Order information — the target URLs, anchor text, niches and content you submit, plus the placements you buy.
  • Billing information — billing name, address and country. Card details go directly to our payment processor; we never see or store a full card number.
  • Enquiry and form data — what you enter on our contact, bulk, outsourcing, white-label, waitlist and publisher-application forms, including your website and budget range where asked.
  • Publisher information — if you apply to host placements, the site details, payment details and contact information you submit.
  • Support correspondence — messages you send us and our replies.
  • Newsletter subscription — your email address, if you subscribe.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language and screen size.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, referring URL, links clicked, searches run on our free tools, time on page and session timestamps.
  • Campaign data — the UTM parameters and click identifiers attached to a link you arrived through, so we can tell which campaign brought you.

Information from third parties

  • Single sign-on — if you register or log in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile identifier from Google.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms — aggregated conversion and campaign reporting.
  • SEO data providers — publisher and domain metrics. This is data about websites, not about you.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and comparable technologies for three purposes: to make the site and app work, to understand how they are used, and to measure and target advertising. The named services below are the ones that operate on our sites:

  • Strictly necessary — session, authentication and security cookies, including Cloudflare (hosting, security and bot protection) and Cloudflare Turnstile on forms. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to measure sessions, page views and conversions.
  • Advertising and conversion measurement — Google Ads conversion tracking, and pixels for Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok and other platforms where we run campaigns. These record that a signup or purchase followed an ad click.
  • Lead identification — a LeadsGorilla pixel on our marketing site.
  • Email marketing — MailerLite, for newsletter subscription and delivery.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the industry tools listed in section 8. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse publishers or place an order.

4. Why we use your information

  • To provide the service — create and run your account, process orders, coordinate content with publishers, deliver placements, and monitor whether links stay live.
  • To take payment — process charges, subscriptions and refunds, and keep financial records.
  • To support you — answer questions, handle guarantee claims and resolve disputes.
  • To improve the product — understand which pages and features get used, and where people get stuck.
  • To market — send you our newsletter and product updates where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate interest, and measure our advertising. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and opting out of marketing does not stop transactional email about your orders.
  • To keep the platform safe — detect fraud, abuse, scraping and breaches of our terms.
  • To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and lawful requests.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: contract (running your account and orders), legitimate interests (product improvement, security, fraud prevention, and business-to-business marketing), consent (non-essential cookies and newsletter sign-up), and legal obligation (records we must keep).

5. Who we share it with

  • Publishers — the content, target URL and anchor text for your order, so the placement can be published. We do not pass your billing details or the commercial terms of your order to a publisher.
  • Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting and security, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, advertising platforms, customer support tooling and SEO data providers.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
  • A successor — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies described in section 3 may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, or "targeted advertising", under certain US state privacy laws. Section 8 explains how to opt out of that.

If you are an agency buying on behalf of your own clients, you are responsible for the information you enter about them, and you confirm you have the right to provide it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need them to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Because the live-link guarantee runs for 12 months from the go-live date, placement records are kept for at least that period plus the claim window. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to each platform's own retention settings. Support correspondence is kept while it remains useful for handling your account.

7. Security and international transfers

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and third-party payment processing so card data never reaches our systems. No service can promise perfect security, and we will tell you and any regulator we are required to notify if a breach affects your information.

We operate from the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where information is transferred out of the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. Your privacy rights

United States

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising or any sale or sharing, to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions with significant effects, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. These rights are available to residents of California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and to residents of states with comparable laws including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana.

To exercise a right, email privacy@nobsmarketplace.com from the address on your account, or contact us through in-app support. We will verify your identity before acting, and we may ask for additional information to do so. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, telling you first. An authorised agent may act for you with proof of authority.

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "appeal". We will review and respond within 45 days. Where a state law provides it, you may also complain to your state Attorney General.

To opt out of interest-based advertising, use your browser cookie controls, send a Global Privacy Control signal, or use the industry opt-out tools:

Opt-outs are stored per browser, so you will need to repeat them on each browser and device. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them; we do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track headers, which have no agreed standard.

UK, EEA and Switzerland

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests you may object, and we will stop unless we have overriding grounds. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, or to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are in the UK.

9. Children

Our service is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Other websites

Our sites link to publisher websites and other third-party services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we recommend reading their policies before giving them information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, where a change materially affects you, tell you by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect.
